FULL-TIME COOK POSITION SCAN
#39;s Children Emergency Shelter provides 24-hour care for children zero to seventeen that are under custody of CPS due to abuse and neglect. The Shelter provides a nurturing, home-like, safe environment family where children can thrive. The position requires to cook and prepare a weekly menu of nutritious hot meals for youth in care.
Qualifications:
Prior work experience cooking for up to 20 persons or Prior work experience in a restaurant. Bilingual is preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Work Monday to Friday from 6 AM to 2 PM Knowledge of safe food preparation. Knowledge of how to properly store food items at appropriate temperatures Demonstrated effective communication skills. Good organizational and time management skills. Demonstrated understanding of the specific nutritional needs of youth. Must have a valid Texas Driver's License. Salary $ 14.00/ Hr.
