The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the food industry. This role requires a deep understanding of food safety standards and the ability to prepare high-quality dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Responsibilities Ensure all food safety protocols are strictly followed to maintain a safe kitchen environment. Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new recipes and menu items. Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies needed for meal preparation. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment used for cooking. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff on cooking techniques and food safety practices. Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal quality of dishes served. Assist with catering events as needed, providing exceptional service to guests. What We're Looking For Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in meal preparation (we'll train the right person). Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining high standards of quality. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members. Experience in managing kitchen operations, including inventory control and staff training is preferred. A passion for cooking and creating memorable dining experiences for guests. Reliable, fast-working team player. Can handle a busy kitchen and keep a positive attitude. Comfortable standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 lbs. Dependable and detail-focused—consistency is key!
