Lead Cook — Help Build Mayhem on Wheels New Braunfels, TX | Part time to start | $20/hour plus tips Must be available October 24-26. Interest in booking the truck is growing, and we're currently turning down some opportunities until we have the right person on board. We anticipate enough gigs to support a full-time position by the end of 2026. Mayhem on Wheels is a veteran-owned food truck serving globally inspired comfort food. You'd cook everything from Hawaiian loco moco and German schnitzel sandwiches to rotisserie kebabs, slow-braised beef, and Georgia chicken fingers. Our rotating menu creates room to try new dishes and help shape future specials. We're looking for an experienced, trustworthy cook who wants to help build the business and grow into a leadership role. You'll start alongside the owner, learning our recipes, handling prep, and cooking during service. You should be comfortable working under pressure, keeping orders moving, maintaining quality, and following sound food safety practices. The goal is for you to become our

Food Truck Manager:

the person we trust to operate the truck, lead service, supervise a small crew, and deliver a great experience when the owner isn't there. The owner will focus on oversight and the business side, while you take the lead on service and execution. You'll also have increasing input into weekly specials and future menu items. We want someone who will help identify opportunities, build relationships, and bring new gigs to the truck. For customers you bring in, you'll receive a percentage of sales from their first few bookings.
