Job Description
Overview Join our culinary team as a Line Cook at Kennedy's Tavern! As a member of our kitchen, you will be responsible for preparing quality dishes, maintaining food safety standards, and supporting the overall flow of meal service. Your enthusiasm, cleanliness and attention to detail is what we are looking for in a Team Member. We're currently looking for 2 FullTime and 1 Part Time positions. Minimum of one year experience on the line please. Duties Prepare and cook menu items with precision, ensuring consistency and quality in every item Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing and portioning ingredients Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to strict food safety and sanitation standards Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders during busy service periods Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and maintaining proper storage practices Able to work in a high-volume capacity and be organized Qualifications Prior line cook experience please Proven restaurant or culinary experience, especially in fast paced settings, is preferred Strong food preparation and cooking skills, including knife skills and meal assembly techniques Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment Basic understanding of food service operations, including serving and food presentation standards
