Job Summary:

Tasty Bites is seeking a reliable and skilled Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate has a passion for food, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and ensuring consistency in every meal served.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook menu items according to Tasty Bites recipes and standards Ensure food is presented in an appealing and consistent manner Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages to the kitchen manager Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff Handle kitchen equipment safely and efficiently

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar kitchen role preferred Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food safety practices Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Strong teamwork and communication skills Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
