The Texan Convenience Store - Cook/Baker At The Texan Stores, the Cook/Baker role involves preparing fresh, made-to-order food and bakery items, maintaining high food safety standards, and delivering excellent customer service.
Core Responsibilities Food Preparation:
Prepare a variety of grab-and-go and made-to-order items, including burgers, BBQ sandwiches, gourmet sandwiches, breakfast tacos, kolaches, and other bakery products
Quality & Safety:
Follow all food handling, safety, and sanitation procedures to ensure products meet The Texan Stores' high standards
Customer Service:
Interact with customers to take orders, answer questions, and ensure satisfaction with food quality and service speed.
Kitchen Operations:
Operate kitchen equipment, manage prep areas, and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with other kitchen staff and store team members to meet customer demand and maintain service quality.
Cross-Training:
May be required to assist in other store areas, such as cashier duties or merchandising, depending on store needs
Skills & Qualifications Customer Service:
Ability to deliver friendly, efficient service in a fast-paced environment.
Communication:
Strong verbal communication skills for taking orders and interacting with customers.
Physical Ability:
