As a Pizza Maker, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality pizzas in a fast-paced environment, ensuring each dish meets our standards of excellence and safety. Duties Prepare and assemble pizza dough, sauces, toppings, and cheeses following established recipes and menu specifications Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, slicers, and food prep stations efficiently and safely Ensure all food handling procedures adhere to food safety sanitizing protocols to maintain cleanliness and prevent contamination Monitor cooking times and temperatures to produce perfectly baked pizzas with consistent quality Assist in menu planning by suggesting new toppings or specialty pizzas based on customer preferences and current trends Maintain high-volume production standards during busy hours while ensuring accuracy and presentation quality Follow all food safety management practices, including proper storage, labeling, and sanitation procedures Qualifications Previous experience in food preparation or restaurant settings, especially with pizza or similar cuisine preferred Strong knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques such as grilling, braising, poaching, and sautéing Experience operating kitchen equipment safely in a high-volume environment Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitizing procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Excellent food handling skills with a focus on quality control and recipe adherence Prior catering or fine dining experience is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for culinary arts is essential this is a small business opening we do host events and have a very nice crowd i need a pizza maker with experience
