The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing ingredients, ensuring food safety, and supporting the overall efficiency of our kitchen. This position is perfect for individuals looking to grow their culinary skills in a fast-paced restaurant or catering environment. Responsibilities Opening kitchen Line- set up, break down. Prepare Menu items for Restaurants to include Breakfast and Lunch. Assist with Prep for Banquets Prepare food items and displays for banquet execution. Communicate to culinary leads for safety , maintenance, and inventory needs. Work with FOH to provide timely and consistent service. Prepare and chop ingredients according to menu specifications, ensuring consistency and quality. Assist in the preparation of sauces, dressings, and other food items as directed by the head chef. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper storage of food items. Follow all food safety guidelines and procedures to ensure the highest standards of hygiene. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other food preparation tools. Support the team in catering events by preparing large quantities of food as needed. Qualifications Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred. Strong knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques. Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling practices. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team. A background in restaurant or catering operations is a plus. Passion for cooking and willingness to learn new skills in menu planning and preparation.
