Job Description
Cook Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Cook to join our kitchen team. The Cook is responsible for preparing high-quality food, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, and supporting efficient kitchen operations. This position plays an important role in delivering a positive dining experience while ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations and equipment Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health guidelines Assist with food prep, portioning, and stocking ingredients Monitor food quality and ensure timely preparation during service Restock kitchen supplies and ingredients as needed Assist with cleaning duties, including sweeping and mopping kitchen floors Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications:
Previous cooking or kitchen experience preferred, but training can be provided Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail, cleanliness, and organization Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to [30-50] lbs Dependable, punctual, and a team player
