Job Description

Private Country Club | Hill Country, Texas We're looking for cooks who give a damn about the food. We're building a kitchen team that takes pride in execution, consistency, cleanliness, and hospitality. If you know your way around a sauté pan, can handle a busy service without losing your head, and care about putting out food you're proud to serve, we want to meet you. This is an opportunity to work in a high-quality private club kitchen where scratch cooking, fresh ingredients, strong technique, and attention to detail matter.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Execute menu items consistently to club standards during lunch, dinner, and special events Work multiple stations including sauté, grill, fry, garde manger, and/or expo Maintain proper cooking temperatures, seasoning, presentation, and portion control Complete daily prep and maintain a clean, organized station Follow recipes, prep lists, sanitation procedures, and food-safety standards Communicate effectively with the kitchen team during service Help with banquets, member events, and special functions when needed Contribute ideas and continuously improve your skills
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
2+ years of professional kitchen experience preferred Strong knife skills and solid understanding of fundamental cooking techniques Ability to work clean, organized, and efficiently Comfortable working in a fast-paced service environment Reliable, punctual, and accountable Positive attitude and strong team mentality Someone who takes pride in the details—not someone who just wants to punch a clock Culinary-school training is a plus, but great cooks without formal training are absolutely encouraged to apply
