Line Cook

Sushi Masa is looking for a dependable and hardworking Line Cook to join our kitchen team. We are a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant focused on delivering fresh, high-quality Japanese cuisine and excellent guest experiences. Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook menu items including hot kitchen dishes (hibachi, teriyaki, tempura, noodles, etc.) according to Sushi Masa standards Set up, stock, and maintain assigned stations before and during service Ensure all food is prepared consistently, quickly, and with attention to presentation Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation at all times Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines Communicate effectively with sushi chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service Assist with prep work, inventory, and restocking as needed

Qualifications:

Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred (Japanese cuisine experience a plus) Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail Team player with good communication skills Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
