As we continue our legacy, we're seeking adaptable, enthusiastic Team Members who thrive in a fast-paced, hospitality-focused environment. As a Heart of House Team Member, you will prepare and cook food to order, following recipes and presentation standards. You'll play a key part in delivering a memorable dining experience, while maintaining a top-notch kitchen environment. Get ready to bring your passion for food to life!
What You'll Do:
Prepare menu items following SMG recipes and standards Ensure all food preparation procedures are consistently followed Coordinate with other departments to ensure proper food service Assist with kitchen setup and food preparation for shifts as needed Support inventory management and track food supplies Adhere to all sanitation and food safety guidelines Maintain cleanliness of workstations and kitchen areas Stay updated on new menu items and dishesWhat We're Looking For:
Must be at least 18 years old Valid Food Handler Certification required At least 1 year of previous hospitality experience is preferred Experience with large-scale food preparation is preferred Strong cooking skills and ability to follow established menus and recipes Ability to effectively communicate in English (verbal or written) Must maintain a courteous, friendly, and professional demeanor Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (6 to 9 hours) Ability to frequently bend, kneel, reach or twist Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Reliable transportation required Adherence to proper work attire standards and personal hygiene Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays Why Join Us?
