Chester's Chicken Cook - Eagle Travel Plaza (West, TX) Eagle Travel Plaza, a 24-hour travel center off I-35 in West, TX, is hiring a cook for our Chester's Chicken location. If you take pride in serving hot, fresh food and can keep up in a fast-paced kitchen, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do:

Prepare, bread, and fry chicken following Chester's recipes and procedures Cook and stock sides, tenders, and other menu items throughout the shift Keep the hot case full, fresh, and rotated — no old product on the shelf Follow all food safety, temperature, and sanitation standards Clean and maintain fryers, prep areas, and kitchen equipment Monitor inventory and let management know when supplies run low Help serve customers at the counter during busy periods

What We're Looking For:

Reliable and on time, every shift Prior kitchen, fry, or fast food experience preferred — but we'll train the right person Able to follow recipes and portion standards consistently Comfortable working around fryers and hot equipment Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs Food handler's certification a plus (or willingness to get one — we'll help) Must be 18+
