Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team in the Pit room and kitchen as a Kitchen Worker. Duties Assist with food preparation including cutting, portioning, and assembling ingredients for various dishes Operate kitchen equipment such as grills, ovens, poaching stations, braising units, and food production machinery safely and efficiently Follow recipes meticulously to ensure consistency in meal quality and presentation Maintain cleanliness by adhering to food safety sanitizing procedures and proper food handling practices Support menu planning efforts by preparing ingredients for upcoming meals or catering events Participate in high-volume food production, ensuring timely delivery of meals while maintaining quality standards Help with meal assembly, plating, and presentation for both regular service and special catering occasions Experience Previous dietary aide or kitchen work experience in a fast-paced environment preferred Familiarity with food safety management and sanitizing procedures required Experience with menu planning, recipe adherence, and food production techniques such as braising, grilling, poaching, and cooking various proteins preferred Demonstrated ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Background in fine dining or restaurant settings is advantageous Strong knife skills and experience with high-volume food handling are highly desirable Knowledge of dietary department procedures or catering experience is a plus Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to excellence in food service! Pay:
