Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, fryers, and slicers Assist with meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients using proper knife skills and slicing techniques Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety management standards Follow all safety standards during production to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service operations smoothly and communicate effectively about orders and timing Support menu planning efforts by providing input on ingredient availability and preparation methods when needed Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant kitchens, or culinary environments is highly desirable Knowledge of dietary department practices and dietary aide experience is a plus Strong food handling skills with an understanding of food safety standards in production Ability to follow recipes accurately and adhere to meal preparation guidelines Experience operating various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork within the kitchen staff Basic knowledge of food industry practices, including safety standards in production and food safety management Demonstrated proficiency in knife skills, slicing techniques, and food preparation methods Prior dietary or culinary experience that supports efficient meal assembly and presentation Embark on a rewarding culinary journey with us—where your skills will be valued, your growth encouraged, and your passion for great food celebrated!
