$17.00 - $21.00 per hour, depending on experience We are seeking dependable, hardworking individuals to join our fast-paced restaurant team in Kamas, Utah. We have part-time, full-time, and seasonal positions available for motivated team members who enjoy working in a customer-focused environment. Position Summary The Cook/Kitchen Team Member is responsible for preparing and cooking menu items, maintaining food quality and safety standards, assisting with food preparation, cleaning duties, and helping ensure smooth daily restaurant operations. Preferred Experience Experience preparing and cooking menu items such as: Hamburgers and cheeseburgers Chicken sandwiches French fries Onion rings Chicken strips and other fried foods Fast-food or quick-service restaurant experience preferred Responsibilities Food Preparation & Cooking Prepare and cook menu items according to company standards Grill hamburgers and other menu items Operate fryers and other kitchen equipment safely Monitor food quality, freshness, and presentation Maintain food safety and sanitation standards Prep Work Prepare hamburger patties and other products for grilling Slice tomatoes and other fresh ingredients Prepare sauces and condiments for french fries, chicken strips, and other menu items Stock and organize food supplies Assist with inventory rotation and storage Cleaning & Closing Duties Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment Clean and sanitize workstations and food preparation areas Clean grills and cooking equipment Sweep and mop floors Remove trash and maintain a clean work environment Complete closing and next-day preparation duties Qualifications Positive attitude and strong work ethic Pleasant personality with a genuine "Can Do" attitude Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Dependable attendance and punctuality Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must be willing to follow all food safety and sanitation requirements Food Handler Permit Requirement Applicants must obtain a Food Handler Permit through Summit County, Utah before or shortly after employment, as required.
