What you'll do: Follows recipes and prepare meals that correspond to the menu cycle Cooks or prepares palatable, attractive, nutritionally adequate meals in institutional quantities according to census and diet type, that are served at proper temperatures and at proper times Adjusts food quantities according to the needs of residents to prevent over/under production of food Serves meals on time Keeps a clean and organized work area Prepares and maintain a supply of food substitutes to accommodate resident's choice and preferences Assists Dietary Manager in preparations for inspections and state surveys Follows facility policies and procedures for infection control at all times Other duties as necessary and assigned.
