Cascades at Riverwalk - Midvale, Utah Full- Time Cook Cascades at Riverwalk is a skilled nursing and rehabilitation community where compassionate care and professional growth go hand in hand. What you'll do: Follows recipes and prepare meals that correspond to the menu cycle Cooks or prepares palatable, attractive, nutritionally adequate meals in institutional quantities according to census and diet type, that are served at proper temperatures and at proper times Adjusts food quantities according to the needs of residents to prevent over/under production of food Serves meals on time Keeps a clean and organized work area Prepares and maintain a supply of food substitutes to accommodate resident's choice and preferences Assists Dietary Manager in preparations for inspections and state surveys Follows facility policies and procedures for infection control at all times Other duties as necessary and assigned.

Physical Requirements and Environmental Conditions:
Exposure to body fluids and communicable diseases Full range of body motion including handling and lifting objects Ability to lift/push/pull 50-100 lbs. unassisted Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time Must be able to see and hear or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately to ensure that the requirements of this position can be fully met Must meet the general health requirements set forth by the policies of the facility Why us: Our Cooks care for a geriatric population that depends on consistent, knowledgeable, and compassionate care.
