Job Description
Chef Come be part of the journey! Cedar Ridge Recovery is a 40 bed Residential Treatment Facility located in Mt Pleasant. We are focused on substance use recovery for adults. We are excited to announce job opportunities with a staff that has been in the recovery field for over 30 years. Our ideal candidate Someone who is a minimum of 19 years old. Most importantly, can cook and prepare meals from scratch. Be able to pass a Background check. Ability to bring a calm presence to work every day. Must have a valid drivers license. Honest, reliable and accountable. Has food handlers permit and or serve safe certification. CPR, AED, and First aid required. We are seeking a dedicated Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry or restaurants, with a passion for culinary arts and food preparation. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have knowledge of food safety and handling procedures, we would love to hear from you. Skill you will develop Become trained in and familiar with an evidence based approach to behavior modification Be trained and certified in crisis management and de escalation techniques (Satori SAMA) Understand the recovery process and how the practice of Evidence Based Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT) works We are looking to fill the position of our Resident Chef who will cook and prepare meals for the residents. Main Job responsibilities are to cook and prepare meals for each meal of the day.

Starting pay is at $16.00 per hour.Days:
Thursday, Friday, And Saturday.Expected hours:
30 + Hours. 10 hour shifts. 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM Make and have a plan for all meals of the day. ## Duties- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and marinating meats
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food production
- Help with inventory management and stock rotation
- Adhere to all food safety standards and guidelines
