Role:
As a Cook, you will play a vital role in our team by preparing and serving delicious, nutritious, and visually appealing meals for our residents.
You will:
Prepare meals according to standardized recipes and special dietary needs. Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen. Assist with serving meals to residents in the dining room or their rooms. Be flexible and adaptable , as schedules and needs can change. Contribute to a positive and team-oriented work environment.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of one year of experience in a professional kitchen setting (preferred). Experience working with dietary restrictions and preferences (preferred). Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices. Excellent knife skills and cooking techniques. Ability to work independently and as part of a team leading our younger crew members. Compassionate and patient demeanor, with a genuine interest in serving seniors. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
