Cook - College Campus

IMPORTANT REQUIREMENT

A clean background for the past 7 years is required for this position. Hiring ASAP! We are hiring a reliable and hardworking Cook for a college dining facility in Bridgewater, VA . The Cook will be responsible for food preparation, cooking, maintaining food quality, and following all food safety and sanitation standards. Responsibilities Prepare and cook food according to recipes and dining facility standards. Ensure food is cooked properly and served at the correct temperature. Assist with ingredient preparation, plating, and serving as needed. Maintain food quality, portion sizes, and presentation. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures. Properly store and handle food and ingredients. Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and work areas. Work effectively with the kitchen and dining team during busy periods. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Previous cook, line cook, or food service experience preferred. Basic knowledge of food preparation and food safety. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions. Ability to stand for extended periods and work around hot equipment. Clean background for the past 7 years is required. Pay Rate $16-$18 per hour, depending on experience.
