Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate enjoys preparing fresh, homestyle meals in a fast-paced, friendly environment while maintaining high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu items according to recipes and quality standards. Cook food to order while ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely service. Set up and stock workstations with necessary ingredients and supplies. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen in compliance with health and safety regulations. Monitor food inventory and notify management when supplies need to be replenished. Properly store, label, and rotate food using food safety guidelines. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Work closely with servers and other kitchen staff to ensure excellent customer satisfaction. Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties, including cleaning equipment and preparing for the next shift.
Qualifications:
Previous cooking or food service experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Dependable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 pounds.
Preferred Qualities:
Experience preparing homestyle or comfort food. Positive attitude and strong work ethic. Passion for providing quality meals and excellent customer service.
Pay:
$16.00 - $20.00 per hour
