Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and energetic Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. In this role, you will play a vital part in preparing traditional Celtic food. Your enthusiasm for food preparation, safety, and teamwork will contribute to a lively kitchen environment where excellence is the goal. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your culinary skills and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced food service setting. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, slicers, ovens, and other culinary tools Follow food safety protocols and maintain cleanliness standards throughout the kitchen Assist in meal preparation for breakfast, lunch, or dinner service, ensuring timely delivery of orders Support the kitchen team by maintaining organized workstations and adhering to sanitation procedures Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate food production and ensure quality control Contribute to menu planning efforts by providing feedback on ingredient availability and preparation techniques Experience Previous experience in food industry roles such as dietary aide, dietary department, or restaurant work is preferred Demonstrated knowledge of food handling safety standards and proper sanitation practices Experience with food preparation, cooking techniques, and operating commercial kitchen equipment Familiarity with recipe adherence, meal assembly, and portion control Strong knife skills, slicing techniques, and understanding of culinary fundamentals Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with kitchen staff and team members Join us to be part of a vibrant culinary environment where your skills are valued, your growth is supported, and every meal you prepare makes a difference!

$15.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 25.0 - 29.0 per week
