We're a busy BBQ, seafood, and Southern-style restaurant, so we're looking for someone who can work with a sense of urgency while still taking pride in the food that leaves the kitchen. The right person is reliable, organized, works well with a team, and understands that consistency matters—whether it's a packed Friday night or the first ticket of the day. If you take pride in putting out great food and want to be part of a hardworking kitchen team, we'd love to hear from you. Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, portion standards, and presentation expectations
  • Set up and maintain an organized, fully stocked station before and throughout each shift
  • Work grill, fryer, expo, or other stations as assigned
  • Follow proper cooking times, temperatures, and food-handling procedures
  • Maintain consistent food quality and portioning
  • Communicate with fellow cooks, expo, and kitchen leadership during service
  • Keep up with tickets during high-volume periods while maintaining accuracy
  • Properly label, date, rotate, and store food
  • Assist with prep and restocking as needed
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation throughout the shift
  • Follow opening, closing, cleaning, and side-work procedures
  • Help the kitchen team wherever needed
  • Follow all restaurant food safety and sanitation standards What We're Looking For
  • Previous restaurant or line cook experience preferred
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Dependable and punctual
  • Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and established kitchen procedures
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to stay organized and focused during busy service
  • Willingness to learn multiple stations
  • Ability to take direction and feedback professionally
  • Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • ServSafe or food safety knowledge is a plus The Kind of Person Who Fits Our Kitchen Experience matters, but so does attitude.
