In this energetic role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality ingredients, assisting with meal assembly, and supporting the kitchen's smooth operation. Your culinary skills and attention to safety standards will help create memorable dining experiences for our guests. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your kitchen expertise while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and assist with meal assembly according to established recipes and menu specifications Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, slicers, ovens, and food prep tools Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by thoroughly cleaning work stations, utensils, and equipment throughout each shift Follow food safety protocols to ensure proper handling, storage, and temperature control of all ingredients Support menu planning by preparing ingredients in advance for upcoming dishes or catering events Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate food prep and ensure timely service Assist in inventory management by monitoring supplies and notifying supervisors of shortages or issues Qualifications Previous experience in a food service environment, such as restaurant or catering experience, is highly preferred Knowledge of dietary department practices and dietary aide experience is a plus Strong knife skills with slicing techniques and familiarity with food preparation methods Understanding of food safety management and adherence to safety standards in production Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain consistency in meal preparation Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen team members Basic culinary experience with a focus on food handling, cleaning, and operating kitchen equipment Embark on a rewarding culinary journey where your skills make a real difference!
