Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic culinary team as a Line Cook. This is a vital role, - you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment, ensuring every plate meets our standards of flavor, presentation, and safety. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your kitchen expertise with classic bar food, American and Asian smoked barbeque, and more. Duties Line Cook Prepare and cook menu items with precision, following established recipes and presentation standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering strictly to food safety and handling protocols Support food preparation activities such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients for service Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of dishes during busy service hours Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, labeling, and rotation to minimize waste Contribute to a positive team environment by supporting colleagues and maintaining a professional attitude Experience Previous kitchen experience in a restaurant or food service setting is highly preferred Familiarity with dietary department procedures and dietary aide experience is a plus Proven skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and knife handling are essential Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling practices is required Strong understanding of kitchen operations, food service workflows, and customer satisfaction principles Must have grill, sauté and fryer experience Shift Availability Closing Shifts that are available are as follows 3pm-10pm Sunday 4pm-11pm
