Full Job Description Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team. As a Sous Chef, you will assist the Head Chef in overseeing the kitchen operations and ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, recipe development, and food preparation
- Supervise and train kitchen staff in proper cooking techniques and food safety procedures
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative and delicious dishes
- Ensure that all food is prepared and presented according to established standards
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a fast-paced culinary environment
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary trends
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities
- Knowledge of food management systems, dietary requirements, and portion control
- Experience in managing budgets and controlling costs
