Prep Cook

IMPORTANT REQUIREMENT

Applicants must have a clean background for the past 7 years to be considered for this position. We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. The Prep Cook will assist with daily food preparation, maintain a clean and organized kitchen, and support the cooks and kitchen staff during service. Responsibilities Prepare and portion ingredients according to recipes and kitchen standards. Wash, peel, chop, slice, and prepare vegetables, meats, and other ingredients. Assist cooks with daily kitchen preparation and food production. Maintain cleanliness and organization of food preparation areas, equipment, and storage areas. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures. Properly label, date, and store prepared ingredients. Monitor food supplies and notify management when ingredients are running low. Follow recipes, portion guidelines, and kitchen procedures. Work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Perform additional kitchen duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous kitchen or food preparation experience preferred, but not required. Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately. Ability to work efficiently as part of a team. Good attention to cleanliness and food safety. Reliable, punctual, and dependable. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift kitchen supplies when needed. Must have a clean background for the past 7 years. Pay Rate $17-$19 per hour , depending on experience and qualifications.
