Duties Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, slicers, stoves, ovens, and food processors Follow food safety protocols and handle food products with care to prevent contamination Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen areas through regular cleaning and sanitation practices Assist in menu planning and meal preparation for daily service or special catering events Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate food production and ensure timely delivery of orders Support inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying supervisors of stock needs Requirements Prior experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is highly desirable Proven food preparation, cooking, and food handling skills within a restaurant or food service environment Knowledge of safety standards in food production and proper use of kitchen equipment Strong knife skills with slicing techniques for efficient ingredient prep Familiarity with food safety management practices and adherence to recipe guidelines Ability to work quickly under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and kitchen staff Embark on a rewarding culinary journey with us!
