Head Chef/Sous Chef Job Summary:

A Line Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking food items in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This role involves following recipes, maintaining food quality and presentation standards, and ensuring timely delivery of orders. Needs to be able to complete the following speed, efficiency, and ability to multitask.

Responsibilities:

Prepares food items by portioning, chopping, and mixing ingredients according to recipes Cooks menu items by grilling, sautéing, frying, or baking Follows established cooking methods and presentation standards Stocks and maintains inventory of kitchen supplies Cleans and sanitizes work stations and equipment Adheres to food safety and sanitation guidelines Works effectively as part of a team to ensure smooth kitchen operations

Qualifications:

Previous line cook experience preferred Strong knife skills and knowledge of cooking techniques Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and teamwork skills Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
