Ho tel Vermont's Juniper Restaurant is seeing a Line Cook to join our team.
Core Responsibilities:
Cooking for guests with consistency and professionalism while learning multiple stations Maintain an exceptionally clean and organized kitchen that will exceed Health Department and brand audit standards Ensuring Guest Satisfaction Make sure all kitchen equipment is well maintained Be open to feedback and flexible to challenges Daily execution of a station within the kitchen, including maintaining inventory, quality control and an accurate prep list. Communicates with other kitchen team members to ensure food is prepared on time and correctly. Ensures consistent high quality of plate presentation. Train or show other line cooks certain steps in creating a dish or preparation methods when necessary or directed. Comply with scheduled kitchen sanitation and ensure all standards and practices are met. Ensure use of FIFO (First in-First out) system, all ingredients are labeled and stored properly. Maintain system of control for storage temperatures and proper functioning of kitchen equipment.
Position Requirements:
Has 3 Years Line Cook experience. Shows passion for local and sustainable ingredients. Must be able to lift #50 repeatedly during a day. Must be able to walk up and down stairs repeatedly during a day We offer competitive wages and benefits. The expected salary range for this position is $24.00 -$27.00 based on experience and qualifications. We are looking for… a line cook that has a deep connection to food, who cooks from the heart and can show the team they really care. Someone who isn't afraid to lend a hand wherever needed.
