COOK-Full-Time Mayo healthcare located in Northfield; Vermont is currently looking for an experienced AM/PM Cook. This individual will be passionate about creating high quality, nutritious, thoughtfully presented meals and must possess a commitment to offering the highest standard of customer service to our residents and staff. Responsibilities include:

Assume the authority, responsibility and accountability of Cook. Conduct all daily duties in accordance with the Job Duty List and Cleaning List. Ensure that menus and extension sheets are maintained and filed in accordance with established policies and procedures. Review all menu requirements prior to the preparation of food. Prepare meals in accordance with planned menus and the Cook's Work List, utilizing standardized recipes and ensuring meals are prepared and served on time. Prepare and serve meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance and in accordance with food safety regulations and established portion control procedures. Serve all meals in accordance with the appropriate Serving Book. Prepare and serve substitute foods to residents who refuse foods offered.
