Job Overview Join our dynamic culinary team as a Line Cook/Prep Cook, where your passion for food and dedication to excellence will shine! In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality ingredients and dishes that delight our guests. Your energy and culinary skills will contribute to a vibrant kitchen environment focused on safety, efficiency, and exceptional service. Whether you're slicing, cooking, or cleaning, your efforts will help create memorable dining experiences every day. Your starting pay will depend on experience. We also reward people who work hard and stay past three months and show they can be on time and follow instruction and schedules. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and menu standards Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, slicers, ovens, and fryers Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations to meet food safety standards Assist with meal preparation for both dine-in and catering services, ensuring timely delivery Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate food production and service flow Follow food handling procedures diligently to ensure safety and quality control Support the team in cleaning duties, including dishwashing, sanitizing surfaces, and waste disposal Requirements Prior experience in food service, restaurant kitchens, or dietary departments is highly desirable Knowledge of food safety management practices and adherence to safety standards in production Strong knife skills with proper slicing techniques; experience with food preparation is essential Ability to operate various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff Familiarity with menu planning, recipe adherence, and meal preparation processes Previous dietary aide or dietary department experience is a plus but not required Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced environment If you're passionate about culinary arts and eager to grow your skills within a supportive team environment, we invite you to bring your energy and expertise to our kitchen. Pay:
$15.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 35.0 per week
