Menus change weekly and rarely repeat. About 40% of our dishes are Japanese, with the rest rotating between Thai, Chinese, Korean, select classic French, Italian, and fusion American dishes. Our clients are subscription-based, so production is steady and predictable. You'll be working directly with the chef-owner, trained in Japan, in a well-organized commercial kitchen with a strong emphasis on quality, efficiency, cleanliness, and respect for ingredients. As our production capacity grows, we plan to onboard more clients, creating a potential path to expanded hours or full-time opportunities for the right candidate. Role Overview We're looking for a part-time Prep Cook who is reliable, detail-oriented, and excited about Asian cuisine. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys learning, thrives in a clean and structured environment, and is curious about a wide variety of dishes. Your Responsibilities Prep assigned ingredients according to detailed specifications (e.g., "100g onion, finely diced" / "4 cups sliced shallots") Handle vegetables, proteins, herbs, and raw ingredients safely and efficiently Maintain a clean and organized workstation during and after service Wash and sanitize equipment and tools used during prep Assist with labeling, storing, and organizing prepped ingredients Occasionally support light cooking tasks if needed Prep and cook some routine items for FOH.
