Job Description
Knapp's Restaurant is looking for a high energy, dedicated, and passionate team member to join us for shifts during evenings and weekends. We are deeply committed to growing and developing our team members while providing a safe and clean kitchen environment as we serve quality and consistent dishes.
ResponsibilitiesResponsible for food production on one or more hot line stations, ensuring all items are produced properly to recipe and plate presentation guidelines.
Ensure all food handling and storage practices comply with health and safety regulations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and work station.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to create recipes and produce food.
Requirements3-5 years of experiences as a cook in a high or moderate volume, full service restaurant.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
Must be able to communicate effectively in EnglishExcellent food handling skills with an emphasis on safety protocols.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
Ability to memorize recipes and cooking techniques.
Flexibility to adapt to changing menus and dietary requirements.
Must be able to stand and work at a fast pace for periods of up to 4 hours at a time.
Must have full finger dexterity and must be able to life up to 50 pounds.
