Line Cook

Saint John's Bar and Eatery on Capitol Hill is currently seeking a closing line cook on Wednesday, Thursday 5PM-1130PM, and Saturday, Sunday 5PM-1AM to add to our tight-knit crew. Could it be you? We are a ragtag crew of misfits from all walks of life and seek someone who possesses a unique balance of experience, professionalism, and individuality. Beyond your requisite kitchen skills, we're looking for someone that is personally invested in the desire to foster positive, professional relationships and constructively communicate with their colleagues. If we are all gonna be at work together, we might as well have fun together. That's a nice way of saying no jerks.

Training Rate:

$22.00Requirements -2 years minimum experience as a line cook in a casual, high volume kitchen-Proficient on fryer & grill-Ability to maintain a clean and sanitary work station-Current WA State Food Handler's Permit-Ability to communicate with FOH while on the line-Have a solid understanding of basic cooking & knife skills
