Job Description
Elliott Bay Brewing Co. is looking for line cooks looking to expand their career to join our West Seattle team. We have a progressive pub menu with a focus on locally sourced products. We want experienced line cooks with a strong work ethic, capable of handling a fast-paced and consistently high volume. Attention to detail, plate consistency, timeliness and a professional attitude are a must. Ideal candidates will have 1+ years of professional kitchen experience, working knowledge of applicable safety and sanitation procedures, knife handling skills and demonstrated ability to follow recipes and prepare food items to order as well as read and sell checks. Must be consistent, timely, and dependable. This job will require nights and weekends. There is room to grow within the company.
Line CooksCandidates must have critical thinking abilities, maturity, passion, nerves of steel and mad line skills. This is a full-time opportunity with consistent high volume. Must be available nights and weekends. Wage is D.O.E. and receives Tips.
The successful candidate will have at least 1+ years in a Kitchen.
Must have a current Food Handlers PermitMust be able to stand, bend, and stoop for long periods of time.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
