In this role, you will be responsible for preparing delicious, high-quality breakfast and dinner dishes that delight our guests and uphold our commitment to food safety and excellence. Your culinary expertise will help create a warm, welcoming atmosphere where every meal is an experience to remember. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your cooking talents in a fast-paced environment dedicated to exceptional food service. Duties Prepare and cook breakfast and dinner menus with precision, adhering strictly to recipes and presentation standards Operate kitchen equipment such as grills, ovens, poaching stations, braising pots, and food production appliances efficiently and safely Ensure all food handling and sanitation procedures meet strict food safety standards, including sanitizing surfaces and equipment regularly Assist with menu planning by suggesting seasonal or innovative dishes that align with culinary trends and guest preferences Execute high-volume food production while maintaining quality, consistency, and timely service during busy periods Practice excellent knife skills for efficient food preparation, including slicing, dicing, and portioning ingredients accurately prep cook food items Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, following all food safety management protocols Support catering events or special functions as needed, demonstrating flexibility in meal preparation Qualifications Proven experience in food preparation within a restaurant or catering setting, preferably with fine dining experience Strong knowledge of cooking techniques such as grilling, braising, poaching, and meal assembly Familiarity with food safety sanitizing procedures and food handling regulations Experience with menu planning, recipe adherence, and high-volume production environments Ability to operate various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Excellent knife skills and proficiency in food industry standards for quality control Background in dietary aide roles or dietary department experience is a plus Demonstrated ability to work quickly under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Strong communication skills and team-oriented attitude Join us in creating memorable dining experiences through your culinary talent!
