Starting at $21 per hour plus tips, based on experience Visconti's Hospitality Group is seeking passionate and skilled line cooks to join our culinary teams at both Visconti's Italian Restaurant and Fire at Pybus in Wenatchee. Our restaurants offer fast-paced kitchen environments where fresh ingredients, Italian flavors, and quality cooking come together. Whether preparing classic Italian dishes at Visconti's or handcrafted, wood-fired pizza at Fire, the ideal candidate will take pride in producing consistently excellent food and working collaboratively with the kitchen team. Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and kitchen standards. Set up and stock stations with the necessary ingredients and supplies. Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining consistency and quality. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food preparation. Follow proper food-handling, sanitation, and safety procedures. Assist with prep work, including chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, portioning proteins, and preparing pizza ingredients. Keep the kitchen and workstation clean, organized, and properly stocked throughout each shift. Communicate effectively with team members to support smooth kitchen operations. Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies. Follow portion-control, waste-management, and cost-efficiency practices. Assist with daily cleaning and kitchen maintenance, including dishwashing when needed. Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef with special menu items, catering, and events as needed. Qualifications Previous line cook or prep cook experience is preferred, especially in an Italian, pizza, or high-volume restaurant. Strong understanding of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food-safety requirements. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen. Commitment to preparing high-quality, consistent food. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
