Job Summary We are seeking energetic and dedicated Cooks to join our culinary team for dinner service. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment, ensuring all dishes meet our standards for taste, presentation, and food safety. Your culinary expertise will contribute to creating a welcoming dining experience for our guests, whether in a restaurant, catering setting, or high-volume kitchen. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your food preparation skills and culinary creativity while maintaining strict adherence to safety and sanitation protocols. Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with precision, including techniques such as poaching, braising, grilling, and food production. Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in flavor and presentation across all dishes. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, grills, ovens, and food processing tools. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by adhering to food safety management procedures and sanitizing protocols. Assist with menu planning and ingredient sourcing to support efficient meal preparation and high-volume production. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy dinner hours while maintaining quality standards. Support dietary department needs by understanding dietary restrictions and preparing meals accordingly. Qualifications Proven experience in food handling, food preparation, or cooking within a restaurant or catering environment. Strong knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and food industry regulations. Skilled in various cooking techniques including grilling, braising, poaching, and other culinary methods. Experience with menu planning, recipe adherence, and high-volume production is highly desirable. Excellent knife skills and familiarity with operating kitchen equipment safely. Background in dietary aide roles or dietary department experience is a plus. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards. Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 per week
