10am to 6:30pm, every other weekend Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Cook to join our culinary team, with both 1st and 2nd shift opportunities available. Duties Prepare a variety of menu items following established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, ovens, poaching stations, braising pots, and food production machinery Execute food preparation tasks such as grilling, braising, poaching, and meal assembly with precision and attention to detail Maintain strict food safety and sanitizing procedures to uphold health standards and prevent contamination Assist with menu planning and ingredient sourcing to support culinary creativity and operational needs Handle food safely during all stages of preparation, handling, and service, adhering to food safety management protocols Support dietary department requirements by preparing specialized meals and accommodating dietary restrictions or preferences Experience Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments demonstrating proficiency in cooking techniques such as grilling, braising, poaching, and food handling Culinary experience with a focus on high-volume production environments preferred Knowledge of food safety practices including sanitizing procedures and proper food handling techniques Familiarity with operating commercial kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Experience in menu planning or catering settings is advantageous Strong knife skills and expertise in recipe adherence are highly valued Previous roles involving dietary aide tasks or dietary department experience will be considered a plus Join us to bring your culinary talents to life in an energetic setting where your skills make a real difference!
