Job Description

Position Description and Essential Functions The CR Kitchen Cook is a hands-on position responsible for preparing high-quality food for daily Kitchen operations, grab-and-go offerings, special orders, and catering events. This position works across the CR Kitchen as part of our One Kitchen. One Team. approach and helps ensure food is prepared accurately, safely, and on time. Essential Responsibilities Prepare, cook, portion, and package foods according to recipes and quality standards. Produce food for daily Kitchen sales, grab-and-go, special orders, and catering. Prepare large-volume food for catering events and assist with event execution when needed. Follow production plans and catering schedules to ensure orders are completed accurately and on time. Maintain consistent quality, portioning, presentation, and freshness. Follow all food safety, sanitation, temperature control, labeling, and storage procedures. Monitor ingredients and supplies and communicate inventory or ordering needs to Kitchen leadership. Minimize waste through proper production, portion control, rotation, and storage. Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary prep, cooking, storage, and equipment areas. Assist throughout the CR Kitchen as business and production needs require. Qualifications & Expectations Previous cooking, deli, restaurant, catering, or food production experience preferred. Ability to follow recipes and produce consistent results. Comfortable preparing both small and large quantities of food. Organized, dependable, efficient, and able to work independently. Strong commitment to food quality, cleanliness, and customer service. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, early mornings, and catering events as needed. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods; bend, reach, push, pull, lift and carry products and supplies; perform repetitive tasks; and safely work around food-production equipment, ovens, fryers, refrigeration, and freezers.
