Crossroads Kitchen - Catering Server Position Description and Essential Functions The CR Kitchen Catering Server supports Crossroads Market catering events from preparation through final clean-up. This is a hands-on, customer-facing position responsible for helping deliver a professional, organized, and welcoming catering experience. Catering Servers may assist with food preparation and packing, delivery, event setup, food and beverage service, maintaining the event space, tear-down, and returning equipment and supplies to Crossroads Market. This position requires flexibility, teamwork, attention to detail, and excellent customer service. Essential Responsibilities Assist with gathering, packing, and loading food, beverages, serving equipment, linens, supplies, and other items needed for catering events. Safely transport catering orders and equipment to event locations when assigned. Drive Crossroads Market vehicles for deliveries and catering events, when authorized and qualified. Set up buffet lines, food stations, tables, beverages, serving equipment, and other event areas according to the event plan. Provide friendly, professional food and beverage service to guests. Monitor food presentation, temperatures, quantities, cleanliness, and supplies throughout the event. Replenish food, beverages, utensils, and serving items as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional service area during events. Assist customers and guests professionally and respond to needs as they arise. Tear down and pack catering equipment, food, supplies, and other materials following the event. Return catering equipment and supplies to Crossroads Market and properly unload and put away items. Complete post-event cleanup, including washing dishes, utensils, pans, serving equipment, and other catering items. Assist with cleaning and resetting catering storage and work areas for the next event. Follow all food safety, sanitation, workplace safety, and Crossroads Market procedures. Perform other CR Kitchen duties as needed when not assigned to a catering event. Position Requirements Strong customer service and communication skills. Dependable, professional, and able to work well as part of a team. Ability to work independently and follow event instructions. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and interacting with customers and guests. Ability to stand for extended periods and regularly lift, carry, load, and unload catering supplies and equipment. Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on the catering calendar. Must meet Crossroads Market requirements to drive company vehicles when driving is assigned. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required for employees assigned to drive CR vehicles.
