This role is essential in providing high-quality food service within our establishment, focusing on menu planning, meal preparation, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences. If shown great skill, can be considered for full time position if looking. Duties Prepare and cook a variety of meals in accordance with established recipes and dietary guidelines. Assist in menu planning, ensuring options are diverse, nutritious, and appealing. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to food safety regulations. Handle food items with care, following proper food handling techniques to prevent contamination. Collaborate with team members to deliver fine dining experiences that meet customer expectations. Utilize knife skills effectively for meal preparation and presentation. Participate in catering events as needed, ensuring timely service and quality presentation of dishes. Provide support in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols. Experience Previous experience in a dietary department or as a dietary aide is preferred. Background in the food industry with fine dining or restaurant experience is highly desirable. Proven skills in cooking, meal preparation, and food service operations are essential. Familiarity with catering services and serving techniques will be beneficial. A strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations is required. Culinary experience with an emphasis on creativity and presentation will enhance your application.
