•Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in our kitchen, ensuring that every meal is prepared to perfection and served promptly. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new dishes. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other cooking tools. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during peak hours. Monitor food inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed. Ensure that all meals are presented beautifully, aligning with fine dining standards. Support dietary needs by preparing special meals as requested by guests. Skills Proven experience in food service or culinary roles, preferably in a restaurant or fine dining setting. Strong knowledge of meal preparation techniques and menu planning. Proficient knife skills and familiarity with various cooking methods. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. A passion for the food industry and a desire to continuously improve culinary skills. Pay:
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
