Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and energetic Part-Time Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties Prepare and cook a variety of meals following established recipes, dietary guidelines, and menu plans Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, braising pots, poaching devices, and other culinary tools Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas by following food safety sanitizing procedures Assist with meal planning and portion control to support high-volume food production Ensure food handling practices meet safety regulations and dietary department standards Support catering events and special meal services with timely preparation and presentation Adhere strictly to recipe instructions, portion sizes, and presentation standards to ensure consistency across all dishes Requirements Previous experience as a dietary aide or in a food service environment is highly desirable Strong knowledge of food safety management and sanitizing procedures in commercial kitchens Proficiency in various cooking techniques including grilling, braising, poaching, and food production methods Excellent knife skills and ability to operate kitchen equipment safely Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards Join us as a Part-Time Cook and bring your culinary passion to life!
