Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and a strong commitment to food safety and quality. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation, ensuring that each dish meets our high standards of taste and presentation. This position requires teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Also paid through tip sharing. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining high-quality standards. Assist in menu planning and food preparation for special events or catering services. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and storage practices. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service hours. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management. Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the health and safety of our guests. Requirements Proven experience in food service or as a cook in a professional kitchen setting. Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation techniques, and safety standards. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with dietary department practices is preferred but not required. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
