Full-Time Cook

•Varsity Bar & Grill Varsity Bar & Grill is a family-owned neighborhood bar and grill in Sun Prairie, WI. We've been serving the Sun Prairie community since 2013 and have continued to grow because of our great employees, loyal regulars, and commitment to being part of the community. We're currently looking for a full-time cook to join our team. We're a laid-back workplace where we hire good people, train them well, and trust them to do their jobs without a manager constantly looking over their shoulder. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, cares about their coworkers, and wants to be part of a team—not just punch a clock. What We're Looking For The right person is: Dependable and shows up ready to work Self-motivated and able to work without constant supervision Positive and easy to work with Able to stay organized and productive during busy shifts Willing to help wherever needed Someone who takes pride in putting out good food Someone who cares about keeping a clean and organized kitchen Job Responsibilities Responsibilities include: Short-order cooking Food prep and portioning Maintaining food quality and consistency Daily kitchen cleaning Dishwashing as needed Deep cleaning Basic kitchen maintenance Stocking and organization Other kitchen duties as assigned by the owner or manager Set Schedule This is a full-time evening position with a consistent schedule:

•11:30 PM Starting times can be somewhat flexible for the right candidate. Additional hours may also be available depending on sporting events and business needs. Pay & Experience Starting pay will depend on experience. Quality kitchen and short-order cooking experience can increase the starting wage. We're willing to train the right person, but previous experience working in a fast-paced kitchen is a plus. Training can begin immediately.
