Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, standards, and presentation guidelines Operate kitchen equipment such as grills, ovens, poaching stations, braising pots, and food production machinery safely and efficiently Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation by following proper sanitizing procedures and handling food responsibly Assist in menu planning and ingredient preparation to ensure smooth kitchen operations during high-volume service periods Support the dietary department by adhering to dietary restrictions and meal preparation protocols for special diets Ensure all food handling practices comply with food safety management policies and regulations Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal service, maintaining quality control throughout the process Qualifications Previous food service experience, including restaurant or catering environments, is highly preferred Demonstrated culinary experience with skills in grilling, braising, poaching, and other cooking techniques Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation methods Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and food handling regulations Experience operating kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, fryers, and food production tools Familiarity with menu planning, recipe adherence, and high-volume food production processes Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to develop their culinary expertise while contributing to a vibrant kitchen environment.
