As a Detail Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring that vehicles are in pristine condition, both inside and out, before delivery to customers. This position requires strong attention to detail, a keen eye for cleanliness, and a commitment to quality work.

People Exterior Detailing:

Clean, wash, wax, and polish the exterior of vehicles, including the body, windows, tires, and rims

Interior Detailing:

Vacuum, shampoo, and clean vehicle interiors, including seats, carpets, dashboards, and consoles

Surface Restoration:

Remove stains, odors, and imperfections from upholstery and other interior surfaces using appropriate cleaning products and tools

Paint Care:

Apply protective coatings and ensure proper maintenance of the vehicle's paintwork, including polishing and buffing to remove scratches or imperfections

Engine Bay Cleaning:

Clean engine compartments, using appropriate methods and chemicals to remove grease and grime while avoiding damage to sensitive parts

Vehicle Preparation:

Prepare vehicles for front-line sales and customer delivery, ensuring all work is completed to high standards of cleanliness and presentation

Marketing Preparation:

Take and upload quality photographs of finished product for marketing

Inspection:

Inspect vehicles for cleanliness, detailing quality, and any potential issues that may require attention before delivery

Organization and Inventory Management:

Maintain and organize cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are well-stocked and in working condition

Collaboration:

Work closely with body shop technicians and other staff to ensure a seamless workflow and excellent customer satisfaction Work 4 10-hour days per week on rotation, including Saturdays, additional hours as needed Report to work as scheduled and work full scheduled hours to meet job expectations Perform other duties, as assigned

Job Requirements:

High School diploma or GED (preferred) Valid Driver's License and clean driving record required (for moving vehicles, as needed), required Prior experience in automotive detailing or car washing is a plus Knowledge of automotive care products, tools, and detailing techniques Ability to operate detailing equipment such as buffers, pressure washers, and vacuums Ability to read instructions for cleaning equipment and use of chemicals Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness Effective problem solving Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple vehicles in a timely manner Ability to work professionally and respectfully with others while demonstrating positive interpersonal skills, and communicate effectively with all team members and management Must be able to reliable commute to work, report to work on time, and work full work shift on a regular basis

Physical Requirements:

Work Environment:

Work in an environment where extreme temperatures range seasonally from hot to cold, where conditions may be damp and/or wet, and concrete floors may be slippery in some areas.
