Responsibilities Operate standard passenger car washing equipment and tools to clean vehicle exteriors efficiently and thoroughly Perform vehicle paint correction and buffing using automotive buffers to restore vehicle shine and remove surface imperfections Conduct vehicle interior detailing, including vacuuming, cleaning upholstery, and wiping down surfaces to achieve a pristine interior finish Apply safe work practices when handling cleaning chemicals, equipment, and performing heavy lifting tasks to maintain a safe work environment Maintain vehicle cleanliness standards by washing, drying, and inspecting vehicles before delivery or customer pickup Use manual transmission vehicles for test drives or movement within the auto detailing facility as needed Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained, sanitized, and stored according to safety protocols Skills Experience operating standard passenger cars and familiarity with manual transmission vehicles Knowledge of vehicle paint correction techniques and automotive buffing tools Strong understanding of safe work practices related to chemical handling, heavy lifting, and equipment use Skilled in automotive exterior washing, interior detailing, and overall vehicle cleanliness maintenance Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients about their vehicle needs Prior experience in auto detailing facilities or janitorial roles that involve custodial duties and cleaning expertise Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as buffers, vacuums, pressure washers, and other detailing tools with precision
